TARGET AUDIENCE:
Nurses, physicians, body therapists, counselors, psychotherapists and other health professionals or individuals desiring an in-depth understanding and practice of healing work related to pre and post-surgical interventions as integrative adjuncts to medical care. This class constitutes the basic training for the Certificate Program of 18 CE’s which is specifically designed for those who wish to become PRACTITIONERS of the BEYOND SURGERY® Program.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
This program trains students to provide specific holistic tools for clients facing medical and surgical procedures. The program focuses on integrative therapies for relief of anxiety and stress, for pain reduction and accelerated healing. Graduate practitioners assist clients to participate in their own healing processes and to become actively involved in initiating their own immune systems.
ACCREDITATION:
This is a course of study towards a certificate of completion as an approved provider for the BEYOND SURGERY®Program, involving experiential learning to provide a customized protocol which includes Healing Touch, Guided Imagery, Anxiety Release Technique® and HeartMath in a Surgical Coaching format. Upon completion of this seminar and its follow-up internship, participants may apply for Board Certification with designation as a Certified Surgical Coaching Practitioner. Continuing Education units are through Healing Touch International, Inc. as approved by AHNA (Provider 582) and NCBTMB (Provider 450748-08).
Recertification Credits for all Healing Touch Practitioners and Instructors.
