TARGET AUDIENCE:
Open to all Healing Touch providers who wish to receive training specific to our mission of providing volunteer Healing Touch care persons diagnosed with breast cancer. Training is also of value to any Healing Touch provider working in the care-giving world.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
This seminar provides a two-day 15-hour intensive including the following:
- An overview of the Healing Touch Buddies program’s history and current vision.
- Interacting with clients, including Bonding, Active Listening, Setting boundaries
- Setting intentions with clients
- Healing the specific issues that exist with breast cancer clients
- Self Care and how it impacts the effectiveness of the practitioner
- Experiential practice with specific Healing Touch interventions
- Long Distance Healing protocol and experiential practice
This seminar is an approved course of study of the HT Healing Touch Certificate Program™, which is an endorsed program of the American Holistic Nurses’ Association.

Healing Touch Buddies, Inc. is a nonprofit health and education organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of those challenged with breast cancer, providing patients with Healing Touch and volunteer practitioners with instruction and support. Our additional intention is to gather data on the impact of Healing Touch on specific symptoms associated with breast cancer and its treatment. This Healing Touch Volunteer Training provides 15 CE’s provided through Healing Touch Program through the American Holistic Nurses’ Association and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
