The Beyond Surgery Program is happy to introduce the “Host Coordinator Program”! This is an exciting program set up to offer incentives to coordinate and host The Beyond Surgery Program’s “Bridging The Gap” workshop in your area.

Being a Host Coordinator has some significant advantages for all involved…..

For the Coordinator, there is a commission based on a certain percentage of The Beyond Surgery Program’s net tuition profits for that workshop (after expenses). (** Please inquire for full details **);

Free tuition for the Coordinator if they choose to attend the workshop, which gives them the potential of becoming a Certified Surgical Coaching Practitioner!;

For the Community, a Host Coordinator provides an opportunity for Healing Touch people to expand their practices into a specialty that is profoundly needed and notably lacking for surgical and medical patients;

For The Beyond Surgery Program, a Host Coordinator is the liaison to other Communities and Practitioners, and a much appreciated resource for our ability to expand this beloved work.

We would love to bring The Beyond Surgery Program’s “Bridging The Gap” workshop to your area. The timing is right, as we are just beginning to plan our training schedule for 2012. So if you are intuitively guided to explore this possibility with us, please use our ** contact ** directive on the Home Page of our web site and let’s talk!

Founders, Nancy Blue and Judy Ray and Practitioner, Karen Toledo attended the Healing Touch Program’s 2011 Conference on August 25th – 28th. This year’s event was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in beautiful San Antonio, TX. While there, they set up a vendor’s booth to spread the word about The Beyond Surgery Program. With our new “Host Coordinator Program” in place, many conference attendees initiated conversations with them about having a “Bridging The Gap” workshops taught in their area! The year 2012 may see us traveling to Chicago, Colorado and a number of other exciting new places. Let’s keep that vision going!

Luckily, Judy, Nancy and Karen’s trip was not “all work and no play”! There was an array of vendors for them to explore when time allowed. One of the most fascinating vendors showcased the “Biomat”, an amethyst/infrared/negative ion mat which accelerates healing, and is based on an original creation made by NASA. They each gifted themselves with the purchase of one of these Biomats, and hopefully their clients will benefit as well. They were able to sneak out for a few speaker sessions, and found the “crop-circles” breakout session fascinating, with intriguing information regarding these spectacular occurrences. Keynote speaker William Bengston, PhD has kept Judy glued to his book “The Energy Cure”, ever since. She recommends it to all healers as an eye-opening look at what is possible through energy work. And of course, the Nancy/Judy/Karen trio all thoroughly enjoyed their evenings winning, dinning and strolling along the beautiful and well known River Walk area.

They had a delightful time on their trip to Healing Touch Program’s Conference and appreciated all of the hearfelt hospitality. It was exciting to generate interest in The Beyond Surgery Program in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and we all feel a positive energy around the fact that Beyond Surgery brings together people from both factions of Healing Touch.

A good time was had by all! Thank you HTP and San Antonio for your hospitable reception!

Mary Ann Watson has 25 years of experience as an Oncology and Hospice Nurse. This has brought her a deep understanding of the challenges her patients face as they move through the tough diagnosis of cancer-related illness and the end-of-life process. She has seen how these trying times can cause a tremendous amount of anxiety for a patient.

Her clients have found great benefits in using The Beyond Surgery Program. One client going through radiation had to endure 5 days of isolation. During that time, she listened to The Beyond Surgery Program’s “Tranquil Space” CD and described this experience as a feeling of having “been in church for 5 days”! This brought her a great deal of comfort.

Another one of Mary Ann’s patients was engulfed with an overwhelming amount of fear when facing surgery. This was due to her experience of loosing family members during their own surgical procedures. Utilizing The Beyond Surgery Program put her in a much calmer state of mind, assisting her in feeling more empowered by being pro-active in her own care. She is quite grateful for her experience with The Program.

Mary Ann’s most profound case involved a client who had received the heart-breaking news that “there is nothing else we can do”. Having been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer, she was of the mind set that she was going to die. She eventually sought out a new physician, received chemotherapy and had additional surgeries. During her most recent surgery, she had The Beyond Surgery Program’s “Tranquil Space” CD playing throughout her procedure. Presently, she is on her way to recovery, is cancer-free and doing amazingly well!

Mary Ann’s experiences have shown her that The Beyond Surgery Program fits well into the health care system. She has seen how the use of integrative therapies helps her as a nurse, and others, become more present with their patients. She feels this is shifting the way nurses think about their occupation. It helps restore “pride and honor” in their work through creating profound connections to their patients. In her own words, integrative medicine has rejuvenated the appreciation that nursing is “not just a profession, but a life purpose”.

The Beyond Surgery Program offers the incredible opportunity for these connections to flourish. She believes we have come to a time where integrative therapies belong in the health care system NOW! It is “no longer something that is nice to have…it is a necessity”! This comes from someone who is definitely in the trenches of the health care system! These are encouraging words for us all to continue on with this beautiful work of The Beyond Surgery Program. Thank you, Mary Ann!!! You are truly an inspiration!!!
