The Beyond Surgery® Program is a toolbox of mind/body techniques useful for patient support before and after surgery, chemotherapy or radiation treatments, or stressful medical procedures of any kind. The goal of these techniques is to assist in relieving anxiety and discomfort, to teach clients a quick and easy method for initiating their body's innate healing response, and to create a support system which facilitates the healing process on all levels.
This enjoyable and highly interactive workshop trains students in the use of these individual techniques and how to arrange them into a protocol specific to each of their client's needs. Techniques taught in the Beyond Surgery Program include: Anxiety Release Technique, Quick Coherence Technique, Medicine Mantra, breathing and grounding techniques, and customized guided imagery techniques. Students are also taught how to assist their clients in creating a support system to facilitate their healing.
*Class materials include a client Guidebook/CD set, giving the student new tools which will immediately enhance their existing practice.
